Teaser Oregon: Tofurkey factory, soft serve ice cream and food carts.

So, I've been spending the last 13 days traveling around in Oregon. I still have more than 4 weeks before coming home, so the big blog posts will have to wait. I just wanted to let you know parts of what I've been doing so far (unfortunately no photos yet!):
- Stayed with Amanda from In My Vegan Life in Portland. Three days filled with food carts, Ethiopian Food, soft serve ice cream, home cooked food, dogs and walking in the Forest Park. And donuts of course.
- Visited the Tofurkey Factory in Hood River!
- Stayed with wonderful people all over (well, Portland, White Salmon, Medford, Reedsport and Seaside so far!) and haev had the time of my life.
- Been grocery shopping. Oh my, those bulk sections.

In almost exactly 12 hours, me and Martin is leaving Sweden for new adventures on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. We will spend 6 weeks in Oregon and Washington and probably have the time of our lives! I might blog from the road, but frankly, I don't think so. I will just have to do 1000 posts when I come home! Apfel-Groshen

One of my relatives went to Berlin last week and brought back a small package with cookies for me. They're called Apfel-Groshen, and were small, round cookies with apple and almonds in them. I ate them for breakfast while taking photos of myself in the forest. Weird start of the day, but now I have a more updated photo of me if you check out the page Fanny who?.
