Show me your stuff!

I've seen a lot of blog posts where the blogger begins the recipe by showing a picture of all the ingredients, all lined up in their boxes. I'm not sure what purpose this fills, but I like it because it's fun to see how the packages, bottles and cans looks like in other countries. So, I decided to pick some common stuff, line them up and snap their picture, and show them to you! It would be so much fun if other people (YOU!) would do the same. That way we can all get a little more insight in the everyday cooking in other places around the globe. If you do it, please post the link to the post here, I want to check it out!

Left to right: Spice jar with cumin. Soy Milk. Canned tomatoes. Tahini. Margarine. Red Lentils. Salt.

Left to right: Oats. Vanilla extract (isn't that bottle pathetically small?). Baking powder. Corn starch. Flax seed.

Wasn't that fun!? Maybe it's just me.

  1. Oooh this is a clever idea!
I love seeing all the packets from other countries too! I guess you might be the same as me in that if you ever go overseas then even something like grocery shopping is fascinating, even looking round stores in airports is brilliant.
Oh dear, I think I might have admitted to some kind of weird geekdom here :p
I will definitely link when I get my picture up. :D
