I got this beautiful cast iron pan for christmas and it's been such a great addition in my kitchen. I still feel a bit like a newbie using it, not sure how to use it properly to get the most out of it. But I'm getting there. So far it's been great for seitan burgers, tempeh sausage crumbles and savory breakfast pancakes. What's your best advice for taking care of and using a cast iron pan? And what dish is unbeatable cooked in a cast iron?
First off I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing. I have had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Appreciate it!
