Chili Pepper Wednesday: Buffalo Tempeh


It's Wednesday and time to eat some chili peppers again!


I decided to make the recipe for buffalo tempeh in Appetite for Reduction. It's a very easy recipe that calls for hot sauce, but I used a finely diced red chili pepper instead, and a splash of vinegar. The result was OK, but lacked in flavour and spice. I don't think subbing fresh chili pepper was a great idea, and I should at least have used some hot sauce as well.
